In 2007 Paul founded interPlay.
Paul started his career as the Marketing Manager of SFX Sports Group who’s parent company Live Nation, at the time, was the world’s largest producers of sports and entertainment.
During his tenure at SFX Paul implemented ground breaking sports marketing and media events as well as working on the portfolio’s of the groups top athletes including Patrick Rafter, Greg Norman, David Beckham and Andrew Bogut.
Adding to this Paul also negotiated some of the groups’ largest personal exertion contracts in a variety of sporting codes.
He was also instrumental in the alignment of corporate sponsors to major events including the Heineken Classic and the Australian PGA as well as a variety of experiential events.
Paul is a FIFA and NRL accredited agent and was influential in the inclusion of marquee players to the A-League with the likes of former Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke and Leeds United star Michael Bridges. His extensive experience in the NRL had Paul working on the portfolios of some of NRL greatest players including Darren Lockyer, Luke Ricketson, Danny Buderus and Billy Slater.
With over 25 years experience, Paul has a unique overall understanding of the global sports and entertainment marketplace and how brands value creative partnerships within their marketing mix. Paul’s experience covers a number of the worlds most influential brands.
Paul holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney.
